The Dutch creative marketing agency Bright8 is proud to announce its membership of the WTACH. Thanks to its many years of experience in travel marketing, Bright8 knows all about the necessity of preserving cultural heritage. Many travelers are looking for holiday destinations with a rich history and authentic features, which makes cultural heritage of inestimable value. The mission of WTACH to preserve those values for upcoming generations is a perfect fit.
The World Tourism Association for Culture and Heritage (WTACH) is a membership organization established to use responsible tourism to protect cultural heritage worldwide. As a WTACH member, you will help to build a stronger and more resilient industry that focuses on a responsible and sustainable tourism policy. As Chris Flynn, CEO WTACH said: “It is important to mention that having Bright8 as part of our association will help us fulfil our objective of making tourism the protector of Culture and Heritage.”
This membership comes at the right time for Bright8. Fred van Eijk, Senior Advisor at Bright8: “This past year has made us realize again where we come from. All beautiful and unique destinations worldwide must be proud of their cultural heritage and keep the dream alive for the very near future.”
Bright 8 already makes extensive use of cultural heritage in its campaigs and communications. At the beginning of 2020 a successful social media campaign for the Curacao Tourist Board was started with influencers covering the carnival in Curaçao. A perfect expression of Curaçao’s culture and heritage and how it is celebrated on the island.
